Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonel Bortzaioriz took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Igor Meder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Cucao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vladimiro Salbatore was a little too slow when Ciro Abadie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Artemio Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Abadie struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Vladimiro Salbatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maggiolo AFC. With an all-out effort, Maggiolo AFC's Vladimiro Salbatore threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Artemio Peyo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th match minute, Maggiolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Abadie to maneuver through the defense. JPFC's Vladimiro Salbatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save JPFC from getting a goal against them. Jorge Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Bortzaioriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Maggiolo AFC defense, Guido Ponciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Cucao. The Maggiolo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Cucao should have stopped the shot. Jorge Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Ponciano in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, JPFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciro Abadie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. JPFC's Vladimiro Salbatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Peyo in the 37th minute of play. Artemio Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Igor Meder fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JPFC's protests and gave Igor Meder a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JPFC! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Artemio Peyo made the kick off in the second half. Ciro Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vladimiro Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Artemio Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Ciro Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maggiolo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Abadie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Artemio Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JPFC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Maggiolo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Jorrin took the corner. Vladimiro Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Abadie in the 69th minute of play. Artemio Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Artemio Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Peyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vladimiro Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Maggiolo AFC were the better team. Maggiolo AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
