JPFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Bortzaioriz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Laurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Herminio Cebrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Jorrin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of JPFC booed when Luro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Bortzaioriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Javier Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 14 played minutes JPFC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Ayala. Andres Gentza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Vladimiro Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Mauricio Obano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Mitxaut charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Mitxaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Guido Ponciano could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Javier Laurin however easily saved by the left post. In the 44th minute, Andres Gentza made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiro Salbatore. JPFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, JPFC's Vladimiro Salbatore got control of the ball when Andres Gentza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Salbatore having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Luro FC's Cristian Naike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Salbatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Luro FC's zone, Guido Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Laurin came out of the goal and Guido Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Andres Gentza could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Vladimiro Salbatore however easily saved by the left post. In the 72nd minute Leonel Bortzaioriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Ponciano in the 76th minute of play forced Luro FC's goalkeeper Javier Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Luro FC's Cristian Naike ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladimiro Salbatore. Vladimiro Salbatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 83 minutes into the match, Luro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Ponciano came free, but Javier Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Cristian Naike managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Naike was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
