In the 25th match minute, Club Atletico El Linqueño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Haimar to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Gorka during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tordos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cezmi Tüzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Blas Emeterio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fabricio Oro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Rodriguez during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Blas Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Emeterio in the 47th minute of play forced Club Atletico El Linqueño's goalkeeper Cezmi Tüzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blas Emeterio made a kick off. Cezmi Tüzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Blas Emeterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezmi Tüzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Blas Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezmi Tüzel having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Club Atletico El Linqueño's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Emeterio came free, but Cezmi Tüzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Gorri made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Clodoveo Txema sent off a good shot on target. Gogo James kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Samuel Selmo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cezmi Tüzel. Cezmi Tüzel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Anastasio Rodriguez with Evaristo Erauso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Club Atletico El Linqueño getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fabian Haimar hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Marcial Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tordos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Bladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Tordos FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Club Atletico El Linqueño to win.
