Angelo Gorri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Club Atletico El Linqueño's Matias Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Club Atletico El Linqueño's Fabian Haimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Gorri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Daniel Aragones hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sanagasta's German Garci got a free kick in the 15th minute. Clodoveo Txema received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angelo Gorri came out and tried to block the shot, but Clodoveo Txema slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 17th minute. A collision led to Sanagasta getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Niceto Baristo hit a great ball. Gogo James hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Matias Izotz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanagasta's Angelo Gorri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Garci kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico El Linqueño's Matias Izotz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Gorri. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. If Matias Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Gorri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Txema went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Angelo Gorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Txema, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Sanagasta's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Izotz came free, but Angelo Gorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Txema blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Gorri having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 52nd minute Ubaldo Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezmi Tüzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Matias Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico El Linqueño's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Izotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Gorri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute Clodoveo Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Haimar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Daniel Aragones shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezmi Tüzel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Matias Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico El Linqueño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angelo Gorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Lázaro Ekhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sanagasta's Angelo Gorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Haimar in the 70th minute of play. Club Atletico El Linqueño's Matias Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Txema in the 74th minute of play forced Sanagasta's goalkeeper Angelo Gorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sanagasta's Angelo Gorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Ramirez in the 75th minute of play. When Fabian Haimar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Club Atletico El Linqueño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Haimar couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Matias Izotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Gorri. Sanagasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Izotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 84th minute of the match Rafael Celio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Gorri skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute, Lázaro Ekhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. German Garci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cezmi Tüzel. Club Atletico El Linqueño's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Clodoveo Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Izotz scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Gorri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th match minute, Sanagasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Laffitte to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Sanagasta defense, Matias Izotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Gorri. The Sanagasta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Gorri should have stopped the shot.
