After 41 minutes, Horacio Lorencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Gallito de Moron and the Club Atletico El Linqueño players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Gallito de Moron's Horacio Lorencio got a free kick in the 41st minute. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelino Iban made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in El Gallito de Moron's zone, Matias Izotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Ikatz came out of the goal and Matias Izotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Matias Izotz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El Gallito de Moron's Eusebio Ikatz. Eusebio Ikatz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Club Atletico El Linqueño booed when El Gallito de Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Lázaro Ekhi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebio Ikatz skillfully saved the ball. After 65 played minutes Club Atletico El Linqueño got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Celio. 70 minutes into the match, Matias Izotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebio Ikatz. El Gallito de Moron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Izotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 78th minute, Matias Izotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebio Ikatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Erauso in the 79th minute of the match. Fabian Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match Anastasio Rodriguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebio Ikatz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Club Atletico El Linqueño's Clodoveo Txema made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Ikatz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atletico El Linqueño's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
