Spectators: 7051 (Terracing: 5451, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Tristan Alsford started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Copita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Aquiles Sabin got a free kick in the 8th minute. Angelino Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tristan Alsford in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. San Lorenzo's Salvador Lizer got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Alsford in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Alsford in the 33rd minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Gerardo Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Angelino Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Fabio Galsino had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Lazcano during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Copita FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Laureano Lazcano hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Salvador Lizer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Pedroni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tristan Alsford in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Rubio saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. Tristan Alsford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Lazcano in the 58th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Gerardo Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Nestor Casomiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copita FC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Nestor Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fedele Pedroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tristan Alsford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Copita FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Severiano Salvatore hit a great ball. Tristan Alsford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gerardo Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Tristan Alsford made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. San Lorenzo's Gerardo Rubio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Laureano Lazcano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gerardo Rubio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tristan Alsford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Copita FC fully deserved thier win.
