Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ramiro Baleren took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Angelo Gorri to make any attempt to save it. Caracara's Ciro Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Quinito in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Sanagasta's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Baleren came free, but Angelo Gorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Avellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ramiro Baleren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Gorri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sanagasta's Daniel Aragones got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sanagasta's zone, Ramiro Baleren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Gorri came out of the goal and Ramiro Baleren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Constantino Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Gorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Baleren in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Ramiro Baleren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Ramiro Baleren came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Caracara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Baleren couldn't finish the play. Ramiro Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Gorri having to interfere.

A collision led to Sanagasta getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cornelio Laffitte hit a great ball. Sanagasta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eloy Domingues in the 69th minute. The corner led Sanagasta's Eloy Domingues to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciro Avellaneda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Diego Sugoi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Ramiro Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Caracara booed when Sanagasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Gorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Baleren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Gorri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Angelo Gorri came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caracara's Ramiro Baleren. But to his dismay, Ramiro Baleren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Caracara walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
