Baldomero Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Che having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Santo Matai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Che. el nuevo quimico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Matai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Lorenzo Barea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Baldomero Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Che having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Barea made a kick off. Gaudencio Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Quirce in the 52nd minute of play. Santo Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Barea couldn't finish the play.
