When Palavecino's Federico Roldanillo in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paranacito's goalie prevented a goal. Aquilino Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Abechuco in the 7th minute of the match. Roberto Johans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Santos's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Bartolo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Roberto Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Palavecino's Aquilino Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Abechuco in the 20th minute of play. Bartolo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Johans having to interfere. When Valentin Quilino fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranacito's protests and gave Valentin Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paranacito getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Valentin Quilino hit a great ball. With his leg Aquilino Cristofor managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Paranacito's Benigno Navarro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute, Rigoberto Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Navarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Aquilino Cristofor made a huge save. Roberto Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Roldanillo in the 44th minute of play. Federico Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Johans having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Roldanillo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Bartolo Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Paranacito booed when Palavecino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Benigno Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aquilino Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Abechuco struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Aquilino Cristofor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paranacito. After 71 minutes of play Paranacito's Valentin Quilino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Valentin Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bartolo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Roberto Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Bartolo Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palavecino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Santos got free with Roberto Johans in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Johans came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Palavecino's Bartolo Santos. But to his dismay, Bartolo Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paranacito's Roberto Johans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Paranacito from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Santos got free with Roberto Johans in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benigno Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Cristofor having to interfere. The Palavecino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palavecino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
