After a defensive mix-up in Palavecino's zone, Emanuel Nataniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Cristofor came out of the goal and Emanuel Nataniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Nataniel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Aquilino Cristofor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Francisco Froila charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Froila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute Raimundo Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Cristofor made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Emanuel Nataniel sent off a good shot on target. Aquilino Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Lonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match, Raimundo Perrando tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aquilino Cristofor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Raimundo Perrando might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Cristofor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Perrando ran back to his position shaking his head. Palavecino's Aquilino Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Perrando in the 27th minute of play. When Emanuel Nataniel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Defensores de Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Nataniel couldn't finish the play. If Emanuel Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Vitin's shot from long distance in the 41st minute was not bad at all, but Palavecino's Aquilino Cristofor knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Emanuel Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aquilino Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Raimundo Perrando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquilino Cristofor, 1-0.

Aquilino Cristofor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Kaxen in the 76th minute of play forced Defensores de Belgrano's goalkeeper Antonio Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Atilano Quilo made a precise shot to the right of Aquilino Cristofor. Palavecino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 81st match minute, Defensores de Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Quilo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Emanuel Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Nataniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Cristofor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Defensores de Belgrano's Raimundo Perrando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Cristofor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Defensores de Belgrano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
