Gaudencio Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Etxekopar's late challenge caught a F.C.S.A. de Padua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Etxekopar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Justo Etxekopar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Larrechea's Robustiano Barea got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haroldo Maule didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Hernandez went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Baldomero Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Haroldo Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Angel Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, Larrechea's Anibal Elia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Matai to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Hernandez in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Haroldo Maule, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th minute, Angel Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Vinicio Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Santo Matai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Haroldo Maule, 1-4. If Robustiano Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched F.C.S.A. de Padua eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
