The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Pacorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Moises Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostende F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Johans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ostende F.C fully deserved thier win.
