Artemio Pasqual hit a great ball. Claudio Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Geleberto having to interfere. Isótopos de Albuquerque's Reynaldo Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Sayveon in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 19 in the game by Claudio Montrelle from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo Geleberto managed to make a qualified save. Isótopos de Albuquerque's players were relieved. In the 22nd minute, Jaime Sayveon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynaldo Geleberto. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 26th minute, Artemio Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Sayveon spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Isótopos de Albuquerque's goal. If Claudio Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Sayveon was the one to do the kick off. After 88 played minutes Unión Trelew got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Naelio. Ramon Tiniebra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Wilfredo Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Valery in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Jaime Sayveon notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Isótopos de Albuquerque's Reynaldo Geleberto. Reynaldo Geleberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Unión Trelew players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
