Spectators: 6428 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zacarias Balasi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Osvaldo Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Justino Ortzi sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute, Zacarias Balasi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osvaldo Rocendo. The goal made the score 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Olayo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Kaxen saved Irala from getting behind. Marcelino Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Olayo in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, C.A.Tigre's Valentin Luix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelino Kaxen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.A.Tigre's Valentin Luix got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Irala got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Betadur. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Luix in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Kaxen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelino Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Olayo to make the kick off. Leonides Egoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Kaxen having to interfere. Valentin Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marcelino Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Evaristo Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the C.A.Tigre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Olayo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Irala getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rigoberto Cebo hit a great ball. Valentin Luix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Tigre's zone, Justino Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Rocendo came out of the goal and Justino Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the game, one of C.A.Tigre:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Osvaldo Rocendo went to the wrong direction when Rolando Calvino was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. C.A.Tigre's Osvaldo Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Balasi in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Zacarias Balasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irala's Justino Ortzi got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saverio Betadur's late challenge caught a C.A.Tigre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Betadur helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 98th minute of the game. One of Irala:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.Tigre:s goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
