Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Higuerita's Salvador Felo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, BELGRANO LA TOMA's Eusebio Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Fresco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, BELGRANO LA TOMA's goalkeeper Justino Silban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Naldo. 13 minutes into the game, Honorato Hermon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BELGRANO LA TOMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerita the free kick. In the 15th minute, Damaso Orlanda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Silban was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Eusebio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. BELGRANO LA TOMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Tristan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alvaro Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The BELGRANO LA TOMA fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when BELGRANO LA TOMA's Eusebio Tristan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute Eusebio Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Felo in the 41st minute of play forced BELGRANO LA TOMA's goalkeeper Justino Silban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eusebio Tristan came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the BELGRANO LA TOMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Tristan couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Damaso Orlanda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Justino Silban firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Higuerita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BELGRANO LA TOMA were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebio Tristan made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as BELGRANO LA TOMA's Hilario Dodorol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Fresco. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. Hilario Dodorol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aurelio Fresco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Higuerita's Aurelio Fresco got control of the ball when Eusebio Tristan tried to sneak it across the goal line. BELGRANO LA TOMA's Alvaro Padro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Higuerita's zone, Eusebio Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Fresco came out of the goal and Eusebio Tristan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Alvaro Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BELGRANO LA TOMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebio Tristan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Aurelio Fresco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Higuerita getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Julio Ixona hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Eusebio Tristan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Fresco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Padro in the 90th minute of play forced Higuerita's goalkeeper Aurelio Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Tristan in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Fresco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Honorato Hermon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Placido Florinio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Silban showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded BELGRANO LA TOMA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Higuerita.
