But to his dismay, Salvador Felo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Rene Vito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ticho having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Salvador Felo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empomadores's Arnoldo Ticho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Isusko kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Santiago Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damaso Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ticho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Empomadores's Luisito Stephen got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Aurelio Fresco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Stephen in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Salvador Felo made the kick off in the second half. Empomadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerita the free kick. Salvador Felo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Caetano in the 92nd minute of play forced Higuerita's goalkeeper Aurelio Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Felo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
