Ceferino Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Ondino in the 26th minute of play. Caballeros de la Angustia's Ceferino Darien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Caballeros de la Angustia from getting a goal against them. Albano Nataniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Gines struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Americo Gutierrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Americo Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Albano Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballeros de la Angustia's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Nataniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Ondino to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Caballeros de la Angustia's Leandro Havier got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 59th minute, Marcelino Clis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Darien was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Albano Nataniel came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Caballeros de la Angustia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Nataniel couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Gines succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 66th playminute.
