Aurelio Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, Placido Transito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jesus Te Ama the free kick. The supporters of Jesus Te Ama booed when Suco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jesus Te Ama's zone, Marcelino Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Piearres came out of the goal and Marcelino Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jesus Te Ama's goalkeeper Adolfo Piearres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jesus Te Ama! The referee gave Suco a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baldomero Gora, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jesus Te Ama's Adolfo Piearres. 0-1. After 22 minutes, Laureano Cerilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jesus Te Ama and the Suco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Ekain in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Suco's zone, Florentino Delfino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Montay came out of the goal and Florentino Delfino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anastasio Eguerdi fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suco's protests and gave Anastasio Eguerdi a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Lehoi's late challenge caught a Jesus Te Ama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Lehoi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Suco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelino Cordaryal was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Marcelino Cordaryal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jesus Te Ama's Adolfo Piearres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Angelino Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Suco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, Marcelino Cordaryal made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Jesus Te Ama's Adolfo Piearres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelino Cordaryal charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Cordaryal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Suco getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marcelino Cordaryal hit a great ball. Marcelino Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Piearres having to interfere. Anastasio Eguerdi was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Suco's Anastasio Eguerdi got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Aurelio Ekain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suco's Manuel Montay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florentino Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Montay having to interfere. Manuel Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Ekain in the 85th minute of play. If Angelino Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Angelino Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Ieltxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Montay having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Suco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jesus Te Ama.
