A collision led to Dep Táchira FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Blas Txaran hit a great ball. Villa Alonso SR's Americo Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Otsoa in the 25th minute of play. If Marcelino Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Efrain Florian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Alonso SR's Americo Gutierrez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Eloy Isaio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep Táchira FC's protests and gave Eloy Isaio a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dep Táchira FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! After 45 minutes, Paolo Muno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Alonso SR and the Dep Táchira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eriberto Ondino was the one to do the kick off. Marcelino Clis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Clis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute of the match Eloy Isaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Americo Gutierrez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Efrain Florian took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Americo Gutierrez to make any attempt to save it. 72 minutes into the match, Villa Alonso SR's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Florian came free, but Americo Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Gutierrez came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dep Táchira FC's Alberto Otsoa. But to his dismay, Alberto Otsoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Marcelino Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Ondino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Honorio Rayman fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep Táchira FC's protests and gave Honorio Rayman a yellow card for diving instead. Honorio Rayman kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match.
