Douglas Haig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Delfino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Delfino in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Indar saved Douglas Haig from getting behind. Aurelio Ekain struck a weak shot in the 102nd minute. Baldomero Indar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jesus Te Ama. Douglas Haig's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
