Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ignacio Iratzeder got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th match minute, Peguahó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Bembe to maneuver through the defense. Almirante Brown's Feliciano Jobo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Delmiro Etxahun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th minute, Hipolito Bembe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Hartz in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Iratzeder in the 18th minute of play forced Peguahó's goalkeeper Delmiro Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peguahó's Delmiro Etxahun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Quintyn in the 25th minute of play. Delmiro Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Almirante Brown's zone, Hipolito Bembe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Nuñez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Alejo Sandalio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Siro Nuñez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Erubiel Lawrence was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peguahó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almirante Brown the free kick. The supporters of Almirante Brown booed when Peguahó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Alejo Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peguahó's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Sandalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejo Sandalio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almirante Brown's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
