When Feliberto Txeru came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the VikingosFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Txeru couldn't finish the play. Los Andes's Ambrosio Tomi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Esteban Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After a rather tough play, VikingosFC's Edgardo Manilan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When the referee ended the match the VikingosFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
