After 3 played minutes VikingosFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Corderun. In the 6th minute, Bonifacio Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. VikingosFC's Joaquin Monte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save VikingosFC from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jesus Azevedo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Toribio. Santo Toribio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Pedro Rayman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Monte, 1-1. Jesus Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Toribio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Santo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Azevedo in the 30th minute of the match. Jose Euloxu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Euloxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jesus Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Santo Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VikingosFC. Ñacuñán FC's Santo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Urritz in the 34th minute of play. If Ruben Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 41 played minutes VikingosFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Txeru. When Ruben Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the VikingosFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Urritz couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Azevedo made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Jesus Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santo Toribio. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Feliberto Txeru struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Santo Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VikingosFC. Eduardo Hermelando hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, VikingosFC's Ruben Urritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Toribio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santo Toribio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Urritz in the 71st minute. A collision led to VikingosFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jesus Azevedo hit a great ball. Feliberto Txerus short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Santo Toribio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Santo Toribio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ñacuñán FC's Pedro Rayman got a free kick in the 94th minute. VikingosFC played a much better game than Ñacuñán FC and deserved their victory. The Ñacuñán FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
