Leon Bidun's late challenge caught a Peguahó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Bidun helped the player get up and apologised. Leon Bidun hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Peguahó booed when Ñacuñán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ñacuñán FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Pedro Rayman hit a great ball. Jose Euloxu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Sandalio in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Toribio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jose Euloxu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ñacuñán FC's protests and gave Jose Euloxu a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Ñacuñán FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Marko. Ñacuñán FC's Santo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Sandalio in the 34th minute of play. Alejo Sandalio might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Toribio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Sandalio ran back to his position shaking his head. Hipolito Bembe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Toribio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Sandalio went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Ñacuñán FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peguahó were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Sandalio to strike the kick off in the second half. Peguahó's Delmiro Etxahun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Gartzea in the 53rd minute of play. Erubiel Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Santo Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ñacuñán FC's Pedro Rayman got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Hipolito Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peguahó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Bembe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alejo Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Primitivo Jaizki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Alejo Sandalio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santo Toribio, 0-3. The supporters of Ñacuñán FC booed when Peguahó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Santo Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Bembe struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Santo Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peguahó. Hipolito Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Toribio having to interfere. Peguahó's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
