The supporters of Cataclismo FC booed when Dale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Gora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Pes came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Dale FC's Hilario Paul. But to his dismay, Hilario Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Guido Liher dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emanuel Pes, 2-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Ladislao Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cataclismo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Gitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Pes made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hilario Paul sent off a good shot on target. When Ladislao Gitano came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cataclismo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Gitano couldn't finish the play. Domingo Satordi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aurelio Pitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cataclismo FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Loren in the 47th minute of play forced Dale FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Liher made a kick off. In the 54th minute Adan Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ladislao Gitano came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cataclismo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Gitano couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Pitin having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ladislao Gitano took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Aurelio Pitin to make any attempt to save it. Christian Carlomagno's late challenge caught a Cataclismo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Carlomagno helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dale FC's Christian Carlomagno got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Cataclismo FC defense, Hilario Paul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Pes. The Cataclismo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Pes should have stopped the shot. Baldomero Gora kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Osvaldo Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale FC's Aurelio Pitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Dale FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Dale FC's Aurelio Pitin got control of the ball when Gabriel Nabar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cataclismo FC's Emanuel Pes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Liher in the 97th minute of play.
