After 3 minutes, Baldomero Gora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dale FC and the Unión Pocilguense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unión Pocilguense's Gogo Mitxaut was substituted for Aureliano Veronica. A collision led to Dale FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Baldomero Gora hit a great ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dale FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Pitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dale FC's Adan Chepe got a free kick in the 7th minute. Camilo Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Remigio Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Bertol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Pitin having to make a save. After having played for 22 minutes, Gogo Mitxaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unión Pocilguense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Mitxaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Ciano during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Pitin had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Narciso Vito's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Aurelio Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Dale FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Camilo Bihar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Unión Pocilguense's Remigio Vasco got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dale FC's zone, Remigio Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Pitin came out of the goal and Remigio Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Pitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Mitxaut went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gogo Mitxaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Aurelio Pitin made a huge save. If Gogo Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remigio Vasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Pitin having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Dale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Mitxaut came free, but Aurelio Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Camilo Bihar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dale FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unión Pocilguense the free kick. After 61 played minutes Dale FC got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Bihar. In the 63rd minute, Remigio Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Pitin. Dale FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Nestor Bertol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Pitin. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Remigio Vasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Pitin. Dale FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Vasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Remigio Vasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Gogo Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 87th minute of the match Camilo Bihar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Camilo Bihar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th minute, Camilo Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nestor Bertol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Aurelio Pitin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gogo Mitxaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unión Pocilguense's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Mitxaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Pitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dale FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Unión Pocilguense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
