The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Cubanea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Tibalt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Cubanea's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Marcones came free, but Julio Jokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Teofilo Torres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Jokin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Leonardo Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cubanea's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Damario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Gaur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
