Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leon Feliu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of ChacaPower booed when Newells De Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Newells De Rosario defense, Leon Feliu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Su. The Newells De Rosario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Su should have stopped the shot. Leon Feliu took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Su. Feliberto Su dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 17 minutes, Genaro Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newells De Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Pacifico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, ChacaPower's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Tartalo came free, but Gogo Gartzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newells De Rosario's Virgilio Xabier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ChacaPower. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Tartalo in the 32nd minute of play forced ChacaPower's goalkeeper Gogo Gartzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, ChacaPower's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Tartalo came free, but Gogo Gartzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Severino Tartalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Tartalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ChacaPower's Leon Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Feliu in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Su saved Newells De Rosario from getting behind. ChacaPower's Gogo Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Tartalo in the 71st minute of play. Gogo Gartzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Tartalo in the 78th minute of play. Severino Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gogo Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Nunez Atauri notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of ChacaPower's Gogo Gartzi. Gogo Gartzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Newells De Rosario's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
