With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Astudillo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Pancho saved J S Mastropiero FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Astudillo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fulgencio Claris kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Jonatan Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Ariel del Plata's goalkeeper Elpidio Roldanillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Locaio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Astudillo in the 19th minute of play forced J S Mastropiero FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, J S Mastropiero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Astudillo came free, but Gustavo Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Alejandro Guifre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gustavo Pancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ariel del Plata booed when J S Mastropiero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Roldanillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Bernat to make the kick off. Cirilo Astudillo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Pancho. Gustavo Pancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in J S Mastropiero FC's zone, Alejandro Guifre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Pancho came out of the goal and Alejandro Guifre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alejandro Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ariel del Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Guifre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, J S Mastropiero FC's Julian Bernat got a free kick in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Roldan during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes, Ariel del Plata's Victoriano Lohitzun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Pancho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ariel del Plata reached it. Elpidio Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Millan in the 96th minute of play. Ariel del Plata played a much better game than J S Mastropiero FC and deserved their victory. The J S Mastropiero FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
