Gustavo Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, J S Mastropiero FC's Tomas Oxarra got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 18 minutes of play, J S Mastropiero FC's Julian Bernat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Abascal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Millan during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, J S Mastropiero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Millan to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Lope's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Gustavo Pancho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. El Deportvo Futbol Club's Zeledon Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Locaio in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind J S Mastropiero FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Pancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to J S Mastropiero FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alonzo Millan hit a great ball. Ariel Lope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Pancho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When Damaso Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the El Deportvo Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Curcio couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Pancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Lope in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, J S Mastropiero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Alonzo Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. J S Mastropiero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Locaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Curcio to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, J S Mastropiero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Millan to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Fulgencio Claris from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Zeledon Abascal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Damaso Curcio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Fernendo during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute Damaso Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Oxarra charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Oxarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to J S Mastropiero FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tomas Oxarra hit a great ball. Fulgencio Claris tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Gustavo Pancho. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 61st minute. Alonzo Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zeledon Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Oxarra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Abascal. That made the score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Carmelo Romo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Abascal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ariel Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of El Deportvo Futbol Club booed when J S Mastropiero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Curcio might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Pancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Curcio ran back to his position shaking his head. Damaso Curcio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gustavo Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Ariel Lope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gustavo Pancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ariel Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Pancho having to interfere. J S Mastropiero FC's Gustavo Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Curcio in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
