Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rogelio Bordat got the match started through his kick off. If Teodoro Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4 minutes into the game, Teodoro Arixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mayuka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chancay FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mayuka's Teodoro Arixo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Eriberto Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Arixo in the 7th minute of play. If Tadeo Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Aires struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Eriberto Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayuka. 13 minutes into the match, Mayuka's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Jokin came free, but Edelmiro Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Aquiles Aires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Pancho. Chancay FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Aires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 20 played minutes Chancay FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Niva. In the 27th minute Genaro Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Mayuka got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Larra. 34 minutes into the match, Mayuka's goalkeeper Edelmiro Guilabertus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Mikeldi. In the 35th minute, Chancay FC's Denis Mikeldi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edelmiro Guilabertus. Edelmiro Guilabertus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Tadeo Larra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tadeo Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Aires in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Denis Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Arixo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Eriberto Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayuka. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alfonso Etor made the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Alfonso Etor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayuka's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Etor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chancay FC's Eriberto Pancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Chancay FC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Teodoro Arixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Guilabertus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute, Tadeo Larra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Denis Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tadeo Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tadeo Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Larra in the 94th minute of play forced Chancay FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Chancay FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mayuka were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
