Gustavo Pancho made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Clemente Xacintu sent off a good shot on target. Abelardo Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Bernat in the 9th minute of play. If Clemente Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Tomas Oxarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. J S Mastropiero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamante AFC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Tomas Oxarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Oxarra got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Diamante AFC booed when J S Mastropiero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Bernat kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gustavo Pancho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Alonzo Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Txilar in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gustavo Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonzo Locaio to make the kick off. Alonzo Locaio charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Locaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alonzo Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Reynaldo Erramu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. J S Mastropiero FC's Gustavo Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Txilar in the 73rd minute of play. Clemente Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gustavo Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamante AFC. Aristides Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Pancho having to interfere. When Aristides Txilar came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Diamante AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Txilar couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Txilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes of play, Diamante AFC's Aristides Txilar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Pancho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clemente Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diamante AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
