Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chancay FC's Rogelio Bordat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fidel Viator who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Eriberto Pancho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Fidel Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Choya's Ambrosio Erasto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Pancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rogelio Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Innocenzio having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Ambrosio Erasto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Pancho. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Chancay FC booed when Choya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Platon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Innocenzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anier Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Choya's zone, Saturnino Jokin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Innocenzio came out of the goal and Saturnino Jokin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Saturnino Jokin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eriberto Pancho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ambrosio Erasto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Erasto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fidel Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Pancho having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Denis Mikeldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chancay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Choya the free kick. Denis Mikeldi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Eriberto Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Viator in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ambrosio Erasto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Pancho was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Ambrosio Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Pancho came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Choya's Fidel Viator. But to his dismay, Fidel Viator quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The nice shot from Saturnino Jokin in the 66thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Anier Innocenzio had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Eriberto Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Chancay FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Genaro Niva hit a great ball. Ambrosio Erasto scored 4-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Pancho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Viator's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Pancho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Genaro Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Fidel Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Guillermo Guerrero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Pancho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Choya's Ambrosio Erasto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Pancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Choya's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Bordat came free, but Anier Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Choya fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chancay FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
