Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Apolo Cordaro kicked off to start the match. The supporters of BULL DOG booed when Viamonte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Shepherd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Tonio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Lorenzo Lizbeth fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BULL DOG's protests and gave Lorenzo Lizbeth a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Tonio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Tonios short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Teobaldo Abalos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luis Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Teobaldo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Abalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Tonio's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Viamonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. If Luis Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BULL DOG's Rodrigo Platon got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Sergio Castulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Viamonte FC were awarded a corner. Benicio Donzel went to the cornerflag to take it. If Antonio Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, BULL DOG's Teobaldo Abalos threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrigo Platon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd minute, Rodrigo Platon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Nerio having to interfere.

In the 55th minute, Apolo Cordaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Nerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Antonio Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Viamonte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Veremundo couldn't finish the play. Antonio Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Nerio having to interfere. Antonio Veremundo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Elpidio Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viamonte FC. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Elpidio Nerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Viamonte FC's Julian Domingues shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elpidio Nerio but with some difficulty. Rodrigo Platon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Teobaldo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Apolo Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Viamonte FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Viamonte FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
