When Zigmantas Cieška fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darth Vader FC's protests and gave Zigmantas Cieška a yellow card for diving instead. 11 minutes into the game, one of Darth Vader FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave BULL DOG a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isidro Heli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Darth Vader FC's Virgilio Arias. 0-1. Darth Vader FC's Atilano Eutropio got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Darth Vader FC booed when BULL DOG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Rami didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Johnny Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darth Vader FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Elpidio Nerio came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Darth Vader FC's Atilano Eutropio. But to his dismay, Atilano Eutropio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rodrigo Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Arias having to interfere. In the 46th minute Rodrigo Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Eutropio came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elpidio Nerio could save by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Atilano Eutropio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Platon in the 54th minute of play forced Darth Vader FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Platon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Virgilio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Rodrigo Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Svensson in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Tonio got free with Virgilio Arias in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Svensson in the 71st minute of play forced BULL DOG's goalkeeper Elpidio Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bronislovas Mankus came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Darth Vader FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bronislovas Mankus couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Darth Vader FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match, Lorenzo Lizbeth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgilio Arias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Darth Vader FC's Virgilio Arias got control of the ball when Luis Tonio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elpidio Nerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnny Svensson's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BULL DOG's zone, Atilano Eutropio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Nerio came out of the goal and Atilano Eutropio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Despite being the better team, Darth Vader FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
