The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Apolo Cordaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Simon Paskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th match minute, Viamonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Ovando to maneuver through the defense. When Atilano Eutropio came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Darth Vader FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Eutropio couldn't finish the play. Darth Vader FC's Atilano Eutropio got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Veremundo in the 16th minute of play. Antonio Veremundo scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Arias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Antonio Veremundo made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Arias. Darth Vader FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Darth Vader FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Darth Vader FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Zigmantas Cieška hit a great ball. Atilano Eutropio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Abalos made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Svensson in the 47th minute of play forced Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Atilano Eutropio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Svensson in the 55th minute of play forced Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darth Vader FC's Virgilio Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Cordaro in the 59th minute of play. Benicio Donzel charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Donzel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Viamonte FC! Johnny Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Teobaldo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Darth Vader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Cordaro came free, but Virgilio Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Abalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Illan Adarzo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute Apolo Cordaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Cordaro in the 91st minute of play forced Darth Vader FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Viamonte FC's Apolo Cordaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. When Antonio Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Viamonte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Veremundo couldn't finish the play. The Darth Vader FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Viamonte FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Viamonte FC.
