Bonifacio Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vladimiro Urtsua took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobaldo Abalos. Teobaldo Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Vladimiro Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the game, GASAR's Bonifacio Estefan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teobaldo Abalos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Vladimiro Urtsua came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the GASAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Urtsua couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Estefan in the 26th minute of play forced Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, GASAR's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Cordaro came free, but Diego Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Viamonte FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Viamonte FC's Antonio Veremundo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cristobal Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viamonte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Ovando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Osorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Teobaldo Abalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GASAR. Bonifacio Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Abalos having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Vladimiro Urtsua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GASAR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Vladimiro Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Estefan to make the kick off. Apolo Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Osorio having to interfere. Antonio Veremundo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Osorio having to make a save. In the 56th minute, one of GASAR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GASAR. 63 minutes into the game, Bruno Haritzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GASAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viamonte FC the free kick. The supporters of Viamonte FC booed when GASAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Haritzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Cordaro in the 71st minute of play forced GASAR's goalkeeper Diego Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bruno Haritzeder was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes GASAR got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Haritzeder. Diego Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Veremundo in the 87th minute of the match. Diego Osorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Veremundo went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Apolo Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Diego Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
