Remco Tijink kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Honorio Bras took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hilario Ereinotz to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Honorio Bras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hilario Ereinotz. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Edelmiro Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byron Bay City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute Honorio Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Ereinotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Aragones in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Ismael Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Matro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alsan Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bartolo FC. In the 34th minute, Clemente Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bartolo FC's Uriel Quico got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Bras in the 38th minute of play forced Bartolo FC's goalkeeper Hilario Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bartolo FC's Oscar Otsoa got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 44 played minutes Byron Bay City got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Paez. In the 46th minute of the match Uriel Quico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alsan Koehler skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bartolo FC's goalkeeper Hilario Ereinotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 52 minutes into the match, Bartolo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Aragones came free, but Hilario Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Aragones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Ereinotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Genaro Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alsan Koehler having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bartolo FC's zone, Edelmiro Aragones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Ereinotz came out of the goal and Edelmiro Aragones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Aragones in the 71st minute of play forced Bartolo FC's goalkeeper Hilario Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Oscar Otsoa shot from long distance in the 76th minute, but Alsan Koehler was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 85th minute Edelmiro Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Oroitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Bartolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Herena. Byron Bay City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bartolo FC for a fine match.
