The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Veintitrés's Saul Soter managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roque Iigo in the 3 minute of the game. Ignacio Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Bittor in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Veintitrés booed when Steal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Christian Quinteros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignacio Cambranes skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Steal FC's zone, Carlos Dacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Cambranes came out of the goal and Carlos Dacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 played minutes Steal FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Erroman. When Carlos Dacio got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ignacio Cambranes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Leon Niva hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Steal FC's Eustaquio Txatxu tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Erroman during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Steal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Erroman to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Cambranes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Steal FC's zone, Fabricio Bittor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Cambranes came out of the goal and Fabricio Bittor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veintitrés's Fabricio Bittor got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Aguirre in the 42nd minute of play forced Veintitrés's goalkeeper Taka Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ignacio Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Aguirre to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ignacio Cambranes managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Veintitrés's Carlos Dacio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Veintitrés getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Damaso Locaio hit a great ball. Ignacio Cambranes was a little too slow when Carlos Dacio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-3. Carlos Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ignacio Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 89 in the game by Carlos Dacio from a close distance when the talented Ignacio Cambranes managed to make a qualified save. Steal FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dacio in the 91st minute of play forced Steal FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Carlos Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veintitrés's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Dacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Locaio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Txatxu, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Veintitrés's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
