Siro Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Marquez having to interfere. Miguel Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Reno in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Igor Bizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perdido AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiriperos the free kick. After 15 played minutes Perdido AFC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Bizi. Maximo Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Lordi in the 19th minute. Carlos Lon charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Lon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Fulgencio Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Lordi got free with Maximo Marquez in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiriperos's Carlos Lon got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Carlos Lon off the ground. Carlos Lon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Mariano Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiriperos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evelio Cibran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Miguel Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Mariano Reno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascual Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Natanael might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Telmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Natanael ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Mariano Reno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Telmo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The supporters of Perdido AFC booed when Chiriperos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Reno made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Chiriperos's Sergio Milian got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Jon in the 62nd minute of play forced Chiriperos's goalkeeper Maximo Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Bernad hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes, Perdido AFC's Julian Lorencio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Marquez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perdido AFC reached it. 77 minutes into the match, Mariano Reno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Telmo, 0-1. Chiriperos's Maximo Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Lordi in the 84th minute of play. If Siro Jon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Gaston Telmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Jose Bernad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Perdido AFC's Miguel Telmo didn't even have to move. The Chiriperos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chiriperos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
