In the 24th minute Basilio Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Mariano Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Spacta FC booed when Tasma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Basilio Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Mikelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Ignatius, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Juan Tallia managed to get in a good position for a shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Basilio Theodore hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Tasma FC's Cristian Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Monico in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Tallia got free with Adolfo Mikelar in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damian Mantzio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Mantzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 76 minutes, Eliseo Ignatius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Ignatius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Spacta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Ignatius came free, but Adolfo Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Geofredo came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Spacta FC's Nunez Monico. But to his dismay, Nunez Monico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Spacta FC's Basilio Theodore got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Theodore in the 93rd minute of play. Tasma FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
