Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Santos started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Santos in the 7th minute of play forced Tasma FC's goalkeeper Cristian Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Emanuel Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cristian Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Geofredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Santos's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Emanuel Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Santos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Tasma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Jordy came free, but Cristian Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Geofredo having to interfere. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emanuel Santos sped through Tasma FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Geofredo. In the 43rd match minute, Tasma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Eliseo Ignatius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Elizardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Baldomero Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Ignatius in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tasma FC defense, Cesar Fraco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Geofredo. The Tasma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Geofredo should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Tasma FC's goalkeeper Cristian Geofredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Santos. In the 70th minute, Cesar Fraco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cesar Soter came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Athena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Soter couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Tasma FC's Cristian Geofredo got control of the ball when Cesar Fraco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Athena's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Tallia came free, but Baldomero Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Santos in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Geofredo saved Tasma FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Damian Mantzio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasma FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Emanuel Santos sped through Tasma FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Geofredo. When the final whistle sounded Athena left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tasma FC.
