An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Lauaxeta in the 20th minute of play forced las aguilas negras FC's goalkeeper Astor Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Argenis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benito Erauso. After 26 played minutes las aguilas negras FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Su. After having played for 29 minutes, Lino Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Guzman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Eusko in the 35th minute of play. Arsenio Eusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Cristian Chepe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Astor Argenis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Lauaxeta in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Eusko was the one to do the kick off. Lino Guzman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Argenis having to make a save. In the 55th minute, Lino Guzman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Argenis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Lino Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Manchester United fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Manchester United's Sixto Lauaxeta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lino Guzman struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Astor Argenis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Astor Argenis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Lauaxeta in the 82nd minute of play. When Sergio Chus fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored las aguilas negras FC's protests and gave Sergio Chus a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes las aguilas negras FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Chus. 84 minutes into the game, Lino Guzman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave las aguilas negras FC the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Guzman to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind las aguilas negras FC's goalkeeper Astor Argenis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sixto Lauaxeta sped through las aguilas negras FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Argenis. Manchester United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
