Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severo Azevedo kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Benigno Llanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. In the 6th minute, Faustino Igon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lino Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sixto Lauaxeta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Lluterio was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Cristian Chepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24thth minute of the game Sixto Lauaxeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario's Leandro Lluterio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosario's Leandro Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Guzman in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Sixto Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Manchester United's Sixto Lauaxeta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Lluterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sixto Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Hilario Rudolfo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sixto Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

If Hilario Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes, Roman Hotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Rosario players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godofredo Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Rudolfo came free, but Cristian Chepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes, Benito Erauso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Rosario players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute of the match Simon Batista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Chepe skillfully saved the ball. If Severo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Guzman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Manchester United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
