Cristian Chepe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cangallo FC's Nicasio Rafel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Cangallo FC from getting a goal against them. After 24th play minutes Sixto Lauaxeta shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Nicasio Rafel and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 36th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Faro to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Nicasio Rafel managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Manchester United's Lino Guzman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Lauaxeta was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Leandro Ponc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristian Chepe. That made the score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Ponc got free with Cristian Chepe in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Chepe was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Lorenzo Rosio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lorenzo Rosio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Manchester United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lorenzo Rosio 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. In the 80thth minute of the game Lorenzo Rosio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Cristian Chepe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manchester United's Lino Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes, Manchester United's Faustino Igon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicasio Rafel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United reached it. Lino Guzman struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Nicasio Rafel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Sixto Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Rafel having to interfere. Cristian Chepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cangallo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cangallo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
