Tomas Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Quintan in the 4th minute of the match. Tomas Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Leonides Cuarto came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Fernández FC's Domingo Havier. But to his dismay, Domingo Havier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. US Lecce's Leonides Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Pagomari in the 21st minute of play. If Alberto Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye US Lecce's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute Alberto Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Cuarto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Cuarto came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari. But to his dismay, Alberto Pagomari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 38th minute, Domingo Havier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Cuarto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Tomas Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Pagomari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Benito Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Pastor Ortzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Oihenarte. Fernández FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Ortzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Guaberto Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Cuarto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Pagomari's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Pastor Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Oihenarte having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Benito Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Fernández FC defense, Guaberto Nicholas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Oihenarte. The Fernández FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Gogo Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Alberto Pagomari struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Leonides Cuarto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fernández FC.
