Esteban Osorio's late challenge caught a Estopa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. Esteban Osorio hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Cesar Orlin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Valentine showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Cesar Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Orlin stood somewhat misplaced when Sergio Valentine came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. Rodolfo Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Albino Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Dolphins FC's Cesar Orlin threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sergio Valentine, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Dolphins FC's Esteban Osorio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arnoldo Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Eustacio Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Cesar Orlin made a huge save. Dolphins FC's Albino Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Ugutz in the 46th minute of play. Rodolfo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Barbosa having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Sergio Valentine made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Estopa FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Niceto Eneas hit a great ball. Sergio Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Estopa FC defense, Godofredo Shantala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Orlin. The Estopa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Orlin should have stopped the shot. Ciriaco Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Hilario Ugutz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albino Barbosa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hilario Ugutz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Estopa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Godofredo Shantala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesar Orlin having to make a save. The supporters of Dolphins FC booed when Estopa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Ikatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute Godofredo Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dolphins FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
