Pastor Ortzi charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Ortzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, US Lecce's Pastor Ortzi got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Antonio Ur came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Rejunte AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Ur couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Quintan in the 28th minute of play forced Rejunte AC's goalkeeper Cristian Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antonio Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rejunte AC's Cristian Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Quintan in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Ur in the 56th minute of play forced US Lecce's goalkeeper Leonides Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Jon charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Rejunte AC booed when US Lecce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Efrain Cedro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Nicholas got free with Cristian Terciero in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Quintan in the 75th minute of play forced Rejunte AC's goalkeeper Cristian Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Efrain Cedro made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Cuarto. US Lecce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Antonio Ur came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Rejunte AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Ur couldn't finish the play. Leonides Cuarto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Ur in the 92nd minute of the match. US Lecce's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
