In the 21st match minute, Fernández FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Henrico to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Pierres got free with Tomas Oihenarte in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Oihenarte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baltasar Tab showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Alberto Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Txordon having to interfere. If Domingo Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Rayman hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mauro Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Txordon came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari. But to his dismay, Alberto Pagomari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alberto Pagomari made the kick off in the second half. Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match, Alberto Pagomari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domingos Txordon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Pagomari got free with Domingos Txordon in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Academia de Patricios's Domingos Txordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Pagomari in the 69th minute of play. Baltasar Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Domingos Txordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Alberto Pagomari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Txordon was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alberto Pagomari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fernández FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Pagomari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Txordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Ramos in the 91st minute of the match. Domingos Txordon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Pagomari in the 96th minute. When the match was over Fernández FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Academia de Patricios throughout the match.
