Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Calquen F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Pagomari came free, but Nemesio Joachim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nemesio Joachim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Domingo Havier notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Calquen F.C's Nemesio Joachim. Nemesio Joachim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernández FC's Simon Eder got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nemesio Joachim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Txanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Pagomari in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Joachim saved Calquen F.C from getting behind. Victor Dantae was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Fernández FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calquen F.C:s goal. Tomas Oihenarte had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Prospero Aurken's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Calquen F.C's Jimeno Formerio got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Fernández FC booed when Calquen F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes Fernández FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Henrico. Calquen F.C's Ambrosio Sandaili came free and shot a quick shot against goal 60 minutes in the game, fortunately Tomas Oihenarte had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 60th minute, Mauro Cordarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Pagomari in the 63rd minute of play. If Alberto Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Godofredo Ferrando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calquen F.C and the Fernández FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Godofredo Ferrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ambrosio Sandaili fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calquen F.C's protests and gave Ambrosio Sandaili a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes Calquen F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Sandaili. When Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calquen F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mauro Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fernández FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Cordarrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Joachim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernández FC's Alberto Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Alberto Pagomari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fernández FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Pagomari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Joachim having to interfere. Alberto Pagomari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Fernández FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
